Documentation S uperconducting Q uantum Circuit in Python Next-generation advances in superconducting technology demand general approaches and computational tools to study large and complex superconducting circuits. Thus, at the LINQS laboratory led by Professor Amir Safavi-Naeini at Stanford Univerity, we have developed SQcircuit, an open-source Python library to analyze any arbitrary quantum circuit. SQcirucit uses the theory discussed by [Rajabzadeh et al., 2022] to describe the Hamiltonian of the circuit in the appropriate basis and extract circuit properties such as eigenvalues, coherence lifetimes, transition matrix elements, coupling operators, and phase coordinate representation of eigenfunctions.
